Bryony Morgan

  • Bryony is TRAFFIC’s Medicinal Plants Programme Officer, based in Cambridge U.K. In this role she supports the uptake of the FairWild Standard and certification scheme for sustainable and fair trade in wild harvested plants. Under a partnership between TRAFFIC and the FairWild Foundation (owner of the FairWild Standard), she handles enquiries and supports further development of the initiative, under the direction of FairWild’s Board of Trustees. She also provides technical support to projects implementing the FairWild Standard worldwide.

    Bryony previously worked for the World Bank on development and supervision of biodiversity conservation projects in East Asia region. She has also carried out work placements with NGOs in Indonesia and Belize on topics related to sustainable use of biodiversity, and an internship with Kew Gardens sustainable uses group. She has a BSc in Biology, and MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy.
